Position Summary

The Compliance Analyst supports the organization's Compliance Management System (CMS) through ongoing controls monitoring, testing, auditing, reporting, and process improvement.

This role helps ensure compliance requirements are effectively implemented, monitored, documented, and continuously improved.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, analytical, and comfortable using technology and automation tools to improve efficiency and strengthen compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliance monitoring, control testing, and audit activities to assess adherence to regulatory, client, and company requirements.
  • Document findings, track corrective actions, and support remediation efforts.
  • Maintain compliance records, evidence repositories, control inventories, and audit documentation.
  • Assist with risk assessments, regulatory change management, and policy reviews.
  • Analyze compliance data and prepare reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
  • Monitor key compliance metrics and identify trends, risks, and potential control gaps.
  • Support governance and ongoing maintenance of the Compliance Management System.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate compliance processes and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain tools, workflows, and dashboards using Google Workspace technologies, including Google Sheets, Drive, Looker Studio, Forms, and Apps Script.
  • Partner with Compliance, Operations, Technology, and business stakeholders to improve processes, data quality, and reporting capabilities.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in compliance, audit, quality assurance, risk management, government contracting, or a related field is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets and Drive.
  • Experience working within documented processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to compliance management systems, internal audits, or controls testing is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Google Apps Script, Looker Studio, SQL, Python, AI tools, or workflow automation technologies is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in a regulated industry is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
