Purpose

The Global Manager of Public Relations is responsible for the successfully advancing day-to-day execution of our PR program supporting awareness and understanding of Teleperformance (TP) to our global and U.S. clients and other stakeholders.

 

Reporting to TP’s Global Vice President of Public Relations, this role will work closely with members of the Global Marketing team (social media, content developers and internal communications and more), the U.S. marketing team, our PR agency and leadership supporting key lines of business and verticals, to help raise awareness and understanding of Teleperformance services, solutions and operations both in the U.S. and globally.

 

The Global Manager of Public Relations will help research, develop and track effectiveness of a variety of external communications tactics to generate U.S. and global media stories and awards that successfully drive brand awareness and support TP’s reputation. This role will also work in close collaboration across TP Marketing Communications teams – global and regionally – to amplify media placements across additional external and internal marketing channels to help advance our narrative.

 

This position is 100% work at home.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as an internal journalist, uncovering and developing newsworthy press announcements supporting awareness of Teleperformance’s digital transformation. Take ownership to identify content that matters and resonates with the target audience, distilling complex concepts into easily digestible and clear messaging.
  • Research and maintain calendar of major award opportunities, and coordination award nominations to help advance TP’s digital transformation narrative.
  • Collaborate with PR agency and TP subject matter experts to identify and define 90-day communication calendar; continually prioritize initiatives and allocate resources accordingly. Act as liaison between subject matter experts and PR agencies to help shape storylines and content that successfully engages media and generates coverage. 
  • Partner collaboratively with members of the global and regional Marketing teams to successfully integrated and amplify PR activities across regions and owned Teleperformance marketing channels.
  • Measure effectiveness using data to inform decisions and quickly drive improvements
  • Monitor, track and report PR campaign performance, test results/learnings, data insights, etc.
  • Serve as back-up crisis communications support for Global Vice President of Public Relations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B communications experience in a direct public relations role, either in-house (corporate) or agency setting. 
  • Strong news writing and reporting skills. Extensive news writing experience is essential.
  • Working knowledge and experience with U.S. media relations strategies and tactics that produce earned media results.
  • The ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed organization with various partners and stakeholders across the business to ensure timely and consistent messaging and outcomes.
  • Familiarity using PR distribution, monitoring and measurement platforms, and producing related reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and an impeccable eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage rapidly shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Possess flexibility and be comfortable working and managing through ambiguity.
  • The ability to communicate critical and actionable insights.
  • The ability to own process/project end-to-end, take initiative, and leverage problem solving skills to connect the task to the outcome that needs to be achieved.
  • The ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit executive presence to influence decisions around message content, positioning, and delivery.
  • Full professional proficiency of U.S. English.
