Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Intern to join our Global Security Platform Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the field of information security. The intern will work with cutting-edge technologies in End Point Detection and Response (EDR) tools, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) technology. Additionally, the intern will assist with Security Analyst Level 1 tasks aligned with NIST 800-181 standards.

 

This position is 100% work at home.

 

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and management of End Point Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
  • Support Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) initiatives to ensure compliance and security of cloud environments.
  • Participate in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) activities to protect sensitive data and ensure proper data handling practices.
  • Contribute to Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) by monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies to enhance the security posture of the organization.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • In accordance with Teleperformance policy, employment in this position will be contingent on your successful completion and passage of a comprehensive background check, including global sanctions and watch list screening.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with End Point Detection and Response (EDR) tools, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).
  • Knowledge of Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) technology.
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53 standards is a plus.
